First off, we haven't found any other similar products. There are several "grass fed" beef jerky and meat bars on the market but ours is different for three main reasons.
1. NO sugar, sweeteners or "weird" ingredients. Other brands use sugar, sweeteners and weird ingredients to soften their jerky that way it does not chew like shoe leather. Luckily for you, we figured out a way to make amazing beef jerky without any sugar or sweeteners. How? Don't ask. We have a secret recipe with a very cool history that goes way back and as the saying goes, we ain't sharing it with anyone! Besides would you ever put sugar, or sweeteners on your steak? We certainly hope not.
2. We make our jerky in small batches by hand while other jerky companies use high tech machines and automation to tumble, pulverize and process their meat to lower their labor costs and increase efficiencies. We don't compromise on the quality of our jerky and while you may never find our jerky in retail stores you can be assured that when you order from Steve's you are getting the freshest and cleanest jerky around directly on your doorstep.
3. Our beef is actually 100% grass fed and finished while others often claim "grass fed" only to finish the cattle on grain for the last few months of their lives. This process of grain finishing is enough to negatively alter the biological makeup of the animal, causing a more inflammatory product with fewer vitamins and nutrients.
